Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (VWGoA) today announced that the Top Employers Institute has certified it as a Top Employer for 2024. The program certifies organizations based on the Top Employers Institute’s Human Resources Best Practices Survey and looks at People Practices based on six domains that cover key HR themes: Steer, Shape, Attract, Develop, Engage, and Unite.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized for our commitment to exceptional human resources practices,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Dr. Gerrit Spengler. “At Volkswagen Group of America, we know that our employees are our greatest asset and that implementing a deliberate, people-first HR strategy is critical to attracting and keeping top talent,” he said.
Volkswagen's focus on employee well-being goes beyond traditional benefits. The company offers a range of initiatives designed to enhance the employee experience, including favorable lease rates and terms for employees and a generous 401(k) employer matching contribution that includes a five percent contribution by VWGoA and up to a four percent match of the employee’s contribution.

Participating companies in the Top Employers Institute Certification Program are validated, certified, and recognized as employers of choice.
