After a break of almost three years - and just in time for its 60th anniversary - the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wörth am Rhein will once again be offering guided tours of #truck production from May 2, 2023.
On the factory site of the world's largest #mercedesbenztrucks location, which has a total area of around 400 soccer pitches, up to 470 trucks roll off the assembly line every day. It goes without saying that all processes must be coordinated and interlinked for such series production. During the one-and-a-half-hour tour, visitors can experience the fascination of this highly automated commercial vehicle production at first hand: From precise robotic welding technology in the body shop to the cab interior, the "engagement" (joining of engine and transmission), the "wedding" (joining of cab and chassis) and quality control, all the way to the customer center where the finished trucks are handed over to their new owners.
The tours can be booked in German and English. The executing partner for the offer is TAB different GmbH, which conducts the plant tours on its own responsibility. Tickets at a gross price of €25.90 per person can be purchased via the booking platform www.factorytour-woerth.mercedes-benz-trucks.com.
