CARLSBAD, Calif. (June, 12, 2022) – Team TaylorMade athlete, #brookehenderson, fired a final round 64 to add her 11th career LPGA Tour victory. While using TaylorMade TP5x #golf ball and Tour Preferred glove, this win builds upon her current record as winningest Canadian golfer on major professional tours.
The 24-year-old Henderson, switched to TaylorMade’s flagship ball franchise and glove in January this year. The TP5x immediately showcased complete performance from tee-to-green producing consistently strong results, finishing top 15 in her first 6 events, including 4 finishes within the top 6.
To win the ShopRite LPGA Classic, Henderson carried her strong play during regulation into a playoff, rolling in a clutch eagle to win on the first playoff hole. With the victory, Henderson jumps to No. 2 on the Rolex Women’s World #golf Rankings.
From her first tee shot on Friday, Henderson was in control with her TP5x, hitting 82% of fairways and 79% of greens this week at the Seaview, Bay Course in Galloway, NJ.
Earlier this year, Brooke had the following to say about the switch to TaylorMade: "Right away the TP5x performed at a high level. I gained yardage off the tee, which is huge for me, while I still was able to have the right amount of spin and great feel around the greens. I also noticed that my iron shots were piercing through windy conditions and holding the line very well. It was really eye opening and I am beyond excited to put the TP5x in play this season". - Brooke Henderson
