Lutterworth, July 26, 2016. Hot on the heels of its #partnership with the Tottenham Hotspur football club, #kumho has announced it will also be the official tyre partner of #olympiquelyonnais. The agreement between the French Ligue 1 team and the South Korea-based tyre manufacturer is for an initial two years, and will commence with the 2016/2017 soccer season. It was made official last week at Stade des Lumières, the team’s brand new stadium and UEFA EURO 2016 venue.
To support the objective of growing its brand in France and the rest of Europe, #kumho will have a strong presence at the club’s home matches and on its digital channels.

Kumho’s sponsorship strategy is to support a carefully-selected group of Europe’s most prestigious soccer clubs. In addition to the newly-announced partnerships with French Ligue 1 team #olympiquelyonnais and English Premier League contender Tottenham Hotspur, #kumho is official tyre partner of the German Bundesliga clubs Hamburger SV, Hertha BSC Berlin and FC Schalke 04, as well as a partner of the Spanish Primera División.
