Special edition: summer's biggest story
Tens of thousands of #amazon employees join Career Choice for education, new skills.
Career Choice has enrolled more than 25.000 #amazon employees this year, bringing worldwide total participation to more than 80,000 employees since the program's most recent enhancements were announced last September.
The program is designed to help front-line employees grow their skills for career success at #amazon or elsewhere. The program now includes prepaid college tuition, new industry certifications, courses to improve English-language proficiency, and high school completion programs.
New benefits also cover the cost of books and fees, and there's no limit to the number of years employees can benefit from education funding. Plus, all 750,000 U.S. hourly employees are eligible to participate in Career Choice just 90 days after starting at #amazon.
