Caleido Collection is born, the self-produced brand of MM Company. The first object is Muse, a ceramic design moneybox.


MM Company, creative consultancy agency, launches #collezionecaleido (www.collezionecaleido.eu), a brand of self-produced objects made in collaboration with selected Italian craftsmen. The first #collezionecaleido object is Muse, a series of designer ceramic moneyboxes.

As creatives and designers, we feel it is our duty to safeguard the craft traditions of Made in Italy, enhancing and handing down this knowledge into the future," say Manuel Barbieri and Marco Magalini, founders of #mmcompany and #collezionecaleido. "We created the #collezionecaleido brand precisely for this reason: to tell and make design-lovers understand how much value there is behind an apparently simple object. A world made up of knowledge, culture, and many people who work hard every day to make Made in Italy special".

 Muse

The first item in #collezionecaleido is Muse, a series of 5 designer ceramic moneyboxes. Muse as 'musine', a Venetian expression for moneyboxes, but also as the female figures that have always been a source of poetic inspiration. These moneyboxes are composed of two parts that together make up the female silhouette: the container is the body, while the removable cap, with its more irregular shape, is the head. Each Muse has its own personality: a name, typically Italian (Albina, Bice, Clelia, Fausta, Lisa), physiognomic and character characteristics (which determine the 5 different shapes) and an iconic colour (petrol, silk pink, cement, pale yellow and chocolate). Muse moneyboxes s are on sale in Caleido's e-shop (www.collezionecaleido.eu) and in a selected network of digital boutiques such as Monomio, Pamono and LoveTheSign.
