NEW INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR CMC MARINE

The international growth of #cmcmarine continues apace as it implements the company’s expansion strategy in foreign markets with two top appointments. #buddymorgan, a manager with vast experience and expertise, leaves Island Marine Electric to become Sales Director of #cmcmarine USA, while #samcrockford takes on the role of Managing Director of the company’s UK branch, #cmcmarine UK. 

“The international market is taking on increasing importance for our company: from the Mediterranean to Northern Europe and the two Americas, without forgetting Asia, we now have an increasingly extensive and heterogeneous market presence,” said Alessandro Cappiello, commenting on the excellent results reported by the Tuscan company’s overseas branches. The CEO of #cmcmarine added: “The appointment of Buddy Morgan as CMC Marine USA Sales Director, an announcement we’re very proud to make, and the increasingly important role played by Sam Crockford as Managing Director of #cmcmarine UK are the confirmation of this”.

Buddy Morgan has +35 years in the marine industry in Sales and technical positions for several marine electronic manufacturers in North American and worldwide.

North America, Florida in particular, is a thriving market for #cmcmarine and from its offices in Fort Lauderdale the company has recently closed a major contract with Marlow Yachts to install Stabilis Electra HS40 stabilizer fins on a new build, a Marlow Explorer 66 (yacht over 21-meter long and with an almost 6-meter beam).

Other particularly buoyant markets for the company led by Cappiello include Northern Europe, where the offices of #cmcmarine UK are now up to speed under the leadership of #samcrockford, the manager who has been working on the #cmcmarine team for the last two years and now manages the company’s European and UK-based customers from London, including Sunseeker, Moonen and Conrad. 

Sam Crockford has extensive experience in the marine sector, especially with the development of new opportunities and start-ups. Sam has lived in the US and in numerous countries in Europe and has enjoyed working in both the commercial and pleasure yacht sectors.
