New manager announced for Suzuki endurance racing team

Team #suzuki Press Office – September 10.

Following the retirement of #dominiquemeliand from the #suzuki Endurance #racing Team after the last round of the #enduranceworldchampionship at #suzuka, Japan in July, the responsibility of the SERT 15-time EWC Championship team has been passed to a new manager starting the new season this month.

Damien Saulnier, who has worked for #suzuki for more than 20 years in the Superstock Junior Team Le Mans Sud team, is managing the new SERT Team starting at the opening Bol d’Or 24-Hour race in France on September 21-22nd.

Saulnier (46) has acquired a solid experience of the race and will be keen on maintaining the official EWC #suzuki ‘SERT’ at the highest level of the championship.

To support him, he will rely on his team and in particular, the historical SERT technicians Yann Olivier (engine), Jean-Paul Voisin (chassis) and also new team recruits Quentin Menard and Paul Vincent (race management) and Amandine Méliand (communication).

Gregg Black, #etiennemasson and #vincentphilippe will continue to race the #gsxr1000 to bring #suzuki to the top of the podium this season.

Suzuki and its partners thank Dominique Méliand’s SERT for the work done for nearly 40 years and wishes #damiensaulnier and his new team the best success for the Bol d'Or and this new season
