Jan-Henrik Lafrentz appointed member of the board for finance of Bentley Motors

(Crewe, 10th September) Bentley Motors has announced that Jan-Henrik Lafrentz, currently Chief Finance Officer of MAN SE and Member of the Board for Finance at MAN Truck and Bus SE, will be appointed Member of the Board for Finance effective from October 1.  He succeeds Dr Jörg Mull who will leave #bentley Motors on September 30 after five years of service to take up a newly created strategic leadership role within the Volkswagen China Investment Corporation. 

Jan-Henrik is returning to #bentley Motors having been Member of the Board for Finance from 2010 to 2014 when he was replaced by Jörg.  Prior to this, Jan-Henrik held various senior positions with Audi AG and then SEAT where he was Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing.

Bentley Motors Chairman and CEO, Adrian Hallmark, said: “I am delighted to welcome back Jan-Henrik to #bentley.  His recent experiences with MAN will prove valuable to us at #bentley as we continue on our journey of transformation and restructure.

“I would also like to thank Jörg for his leadership, support and governance over the five years he has been with the company.  He has made a significant and vital contribution to the business and been instrumental in steering this year’s positive financial performance to date.”

Jörg will be returning to Asia for his next position as previously to joining #bentley Motors, he was Executive Vice President, Finance of Volkswagen China from 2007.  He also worked in Singapore and Tokyo from 1996 to 2002 before moving to Volkswagen AG.
