Nissan reports april 2016 sales for Europe

Rolle, (Switzerland) 12th May, 2016 – #nissan announced today European sales for April of 52,596 units (Nissan and Datsun), representing a market share of 3.2%. Calendar year sales to date total 258,987 units with a market share of 3.9%.
April and Calendar year highlights:
- Sales in the UK totalled 10,119 units with a market share of 4.7%. Calendar year sales total 56,706 units and market share is 5.25%.
- Sales in Germany totalled 6,215 units recording the best April result in the market since 1998, with a market share of 1.9%. Calendar year sales to date total 27,193 units and market share is 2.3%.
- Sales in Spain totalled 4,863 units and a market share of 4% - #nissan Spain’s best April result since 2008. Calendar year sales to date total 21,668 units and market share is 4.9%.
- Sales in France totalled 6,530 units and a market share of 3%. Calendar year sales total 27,973 units and market share is 3.4%.
- Nissan in Italy recorded sales of 5,873 units in April with a market share of 3.2% an increase of 7.1% on April 2015. Calendar year sales to date total 24,233 and market share is 3.3%.
- Datsun sales in Russia totalled 815 units in April with 5,288 units sold from January to April 2016.
