03 March 2021, Ansty, Coventry: #LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) has appointed #terryrayner into a new role as Head of UK Sales to support LEVC’s growth plans in the domestic market. With the introduction of the company’s second product line, the new VN5 electric #van, Terry will be responsible for overseeing sales of VN5 and TX #taxi as well as supporting the growth of the UK dealer network.
Since joining the company early last year, Terry has played an instrumental role at #LEVC, implementing a robust converter strategy, as well as working with key national fleet customers and LEVC’s national dealer network to ensure the successful introduction of VN5.

With over 40 years of sales and aftersales experience working at Ford Motor Co. Terry has amassed decades of knowledge in the commercial vehicle segment. In his most recent roles Terry has worked as Commercial Vehicle Director Ford Middle East & Africa and Commercial Vehicle Director Ford Britain.

LEVC, based in Coventry, UK has been manufacturing the official London black cab for more than 100 years. The company reinvented its iconic #taxi as an electric, zero emissions capable TX in 2018. Since its launch, more than 4,500 TXs have sold worldwide and LEVC’s new electric #van, VN5, now joins the model line-up.
VN5 operates in the one-tonne sector, sharing the same bold, distinctive #design and lightweight aluminium construction as TX, as well as its innovative eCity electric technology. VN5 can achieve pure electric range of over 60 miles (98 km) and the more frugal driver could achieve a 76-mile (122 km) range in pure #ev mode, according to WLTP city methodology*.
With up to 5.5m3 cargo capacity, VN5 easily accommodates two Euro sized pallets (1200mm x 1000mm) and offers a gross payload of up to 830kg. It has been built with a large side-loading door (enabling a pallet to be side-loaded) and a 60/40 split door at the rear to make loading and unloading easy for the driver.
VN5 is sold through LEVC’s growing international dealer network, with more than 50 locations in the UK, ensuring that customers are never further than a 45-minute drive time to an authorised #LEVC service point.
