Nissan signs three year Sky Sports FA Premier League partnership

  • Three year sponsorship will kick off Sky Sports’ biggest ever season from 13th August
  • Nissan will be the exclusive weekend sponsor of Sky Sports’ #premierleague action
  • Partnership is another example of Nissan’s ever increasing involvement in global football

 

Car manufacturer #nissan has agreed a three year #partnership to sponsor Sky Sports’ FA #premierleague (FAPL) coverage, starting with its biggest ever season from 13 August.

 

As part of the agreement #nissan will become the exclusive weekend sponsor for all of Sky Sports’ #premierleague action.

 

In addition to live TV, #nissan will be the sole sponsor of all the #premierleague previews, reviews, editorial articles, stats, facts and figures on Sky Sports.com.  In 2015, online video views increased by approximately 175% as Sky Sports continued to innovate across a changing world of sports consumption.

 

The #partnership is another example of Nissan’s ever increasing involvement in football and #sport, which also includes their global sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League. As part of their promise to offer ‘innovation that excites’ #nissan is able to bring excitement to thousands of football fans around the world via exclusive assets such as Goal of the Week and the chance to be a Centre Circle Carrier during UEFA Champions League matches.

 

Nissan is also the global automotive partner of City Football Group, an organisation including #nissan majority owned Yokohama F. Marinos alongside Manchester City FC, Manchester City Women’s FC, New York City FC, and Melbourne City FC.

Nissan’s #partnership begins with the new #premierleague season in August 2016, and runs to July 2019.
